Duble Sidekick: Hit After Hit.

If you're a kpop fan, you should've heard of  Duble Sidekick producing at least one of your bias/biases song. Some of their latest projects released are Jiyeon's "1 Minute, 1 Second", Jung In and Gary's "Your Scent", G.NA's "Pretty Lingerie", Hyosung "Goodnight Kiss"...

So what or who is Duble Sidekick? Duble Sidekick is a producer team formed by One Way's Chance back in 2011. Before forming Duble Sidekick, Chance had already produced songs for big names such as Super Junior and 2PM.

At the end of 2011, Chance joined Park Jang Geun to form Duble Sidekick. and to produce MBLAQ's mini-album "100%".

In 2012 the won the "Songwriter Award" at the Melon Music Awards.
So far, they've produced amazing tracks such as MBLAQ's "This is War", Sistar's "Give It To Me" and "Loving U",  T-ara N4's "Countryside Life".

 

What I love about them is that the adapt themselves to the artists, and no the other way round.

[TOP 10] My Favorite Female Visuals

 

Even when everyone says she's not talented enough or she's just pretty, the visuals take a huge part of any K-Pop group. Always working hard and accepting the negative comments from the people.

Everyone is beautiful here, but this Top 10 is based on my point of view of who's doing more activities, like dramas, movies, cfs' and being the image of huge brands.

The visual is the image of the group and it's the one who generally takes the main concept, expressing it by their makeup, clothes and is the one who makes more publicity for their respective comebacks. So check it out!

Known by her long Slim figure, making her the face of a few clothes brands.

 

9. T-ARA's Jiyeon

An acting-idol. Her beautiful face and personality make T-Ara gain a lot of  male fans.

8. 2NE1's Dara

Dara is one of the visuals that have less activity, but her cute-bubbly image is always making people give attention to her. She's always a makeup model and I noticed that she has really improved her singing skills.

7. 4Minute's Hyuna

This girl who make every single man crazy about her sexiness. Hyuna  who can be cute and sexy at the same time, define the concept of 4Minute on their early years.

6. Apink's Naeun

Before debuting Naeun was already acting in a few dramas to drag her fans to Apink later. On 2013 Apink finally leave the rookie title behind, and one of the factors where the popularity of Naeun by We Got Married. Innocent and pure image.

5. Brown Eyed Girls's Gain

If you talk about real sexiness, you should know Gain songs. The maknae and Visual of Brown Eyed Girls, have the attitude and charisma. She write her own songs and it's one of the idols who really talk about sexuality on her songs. Don't ignore that We Got Married was a huge help for her too.

4. f(x) Sulli

 Second Maknae and Visual of f(x). She act since she was 9 years old. She acted in lot of movies  and mv's. To The Beautiful You give her a huge amount of international fans. The model of huge fashion and makeup brands.  She  filmed  two movies in less than 5 months.

3. Miss A's Suzy

Dream High open every single door for Suzy. She is on of the main vocalist on Miss A,  Has gain recognition on the acting industry a few times, have endorsements of food, clothes... The JYP Little princess. She has recently slow down a Little bit her activities but 2013 was her year.

2. Sistar's Hyorin

Hyorin, who is also the main vocalist and leader of her group, is just simply talented. She may not be on many dramas, cfs or movies but her voice is on almost every huge drama soundtrack, She's on Sistar sub-unit and she is promoting a duet with Mad Clown on this season. Definitely a hard working person.

1. SNSD's Yoona

Girl's Generation is obviously popular right now, but a few years ago they were just another girl group more. Yoona, along with her members, were always promoting but this girl never stops. She's the constant model for everything: clothes, food, cellphone, pourses, Everything! She's been at the top since Gee era thanks for her natural beauty and charisma.

So for the haters... Do you keep thinking that they are lazy and untaleted?

South Korean Ferry Sinks, 9 Deaths Confirmed So Far.

 

A ship named Sewol sank near Jindu island, in the southern coast of South Korea. The entire country is paralized and expectant of news, even the entertainment industry canceled everything for two days in a row (dramas, variety shows, music programs...) to run news specials about the tragedy.
There were 471 passengers, and most of them were high school students on a school trip to Jeju Island. 9 deaths are confirmed and there are still 287 missing.

 

 

The search rescue has been paused due to worsening weather conditions.

 

 

 

The captain is alive and says he's too embarrased and sorry.

 



 

 

How the Industry has reacted;

 Music:

• A Pink postponed their 3rd anniversary fan meeting.
• This week's M! Countdown, Inkigayo and Music Bank have been canceled.
• BoA, EXO, MBLAQ, Block B, IU, M.I.B  and others have delayed their schedules.
• Comebacks have been delayed as well (Jiyeon, San E, Lena Park, FIESTAR.

T.V:

• Block B and B2ST were canceled for this week.
• tvN has canceled its sitcoms.
• SBS aired a two hour news special.
• MBC, KBS and SBS have canceled their dramas.

Teasers, teasers and more teasers!

Let's start with EXO! They are going to comeback with the title track "Overdose" on the 15th. The song and the dance practice had been leaked already and it seems that they will be promoting as EXO-M and EXO-K. The song was composed by The Underdogs and Kenzie.
The boys look sexy and we really liked Suho and Sehun's teasers, but we're still not sure about the concept. As Sharo says, it looks like a male versión of SNSD's Mr.Mr.

Their comeback video was uploaded on March 1st, and they're supposed to have their comeback in April...wait, we're in the middle of April and there's no news about them! Where are the other teasers??!! I hope SM/Woolim aren't playing with us...

It was very surprising for almost everyone when Core announced that they were going to promote Jiyeon and Hyomin with solo activities. Why not Eunjung or Soyeon? Why the most hated members? I don't have answers for that, but I can tell you that Jiyeon is debuting with the track "1MIN 1 SEC", produced by Duble Sidecick (Sistar, K.Will, Girl's Day...) and coreographed by Bae Yoon Jung.

 

 

 

 

Finally Block B!

This guys has been through a lot, but they prove that they're going to be around for a while. Their comeback is going to be the 17th with "Jackpot" which seems to be promising.
